Try and go full screen and it is offset to the right side by alot making it odd to even have up.

Complete wast of time and space... Save yourself the trouble, go back now.

Dont bother, there is a huge pop up that wont go away telling you about the paid version.

It just has a huge ad in the middle. get Fireplace. not this one. waste of memory.

i studied it carefully and its just about a 5 second video of a fire place over and over with an annoying "upgrade to pro" pop-up. all this app takes to make is a camera of good quality and a fire place then you put the video on your mac and you can make the video as long as you want so you dont see the same stuff over and over again. look around the top left corner and youll see the same ash fly up every 5 seconds.

This is pretty cool! It makes a fun "fire" sound and looks very real- fun for a night inside with a glass of wine and a good book. The pop up goes away after about 3 seconds of moving your cursor away from it. It is only there so that you can exit and adjust the volume. I would listen to all the other reviews because they clearly didnt try to remove the cursor :) Thanks to the guy who suggested doing that. It made this app experience all the more peaceful! WOW, nice 2 second loop it was actually good until you figure out the loop is literally 2 seconds long no longer i freakin timed it Are you trying annoy crap out of us to get us to buy the full version?

Seriously... This borders on false advertising. Sure its a fireplace simulation. Its just blocked by the ever persistent popup, reminding you to purchase the full version. You get what you pay for - nothing.

BIG CRAP OF A APP

Just a big banner in front of the fire telling you to upgrade to pro version. This sould not even be in the free section. Just a baiter folks.

I wont buy the Paid version because of the sleazy way this app was created. Its a short, low-res video loop of a fire in a fire place. Ok, its free, so what. The what is a big in-app purchase popup that opens in the center of the screen when you launch the app. Ok, still no big deal. Until you realize you cant close it. Ok, still no bg deal- if you dont move your mouse, it closes in about 15sec, it closes itself. Until you realize that any input into your computer (mouse movement, keystroke) brings up the popup again. And then you have to wait for it to go away on its own. Thats a big deal for me. I deleted it and will look elsewhere for a fireplace app rather than be annoyed into buying this guys app.

This product was very pretty, but it had a pop up and it really wouldnt let you see the fire. The sound is great but besides that every thing is GREAT!!!!!!

Keep your butts on it to feel the fire blaze how it hurts even when it is free :-):-)

Besides the fact that theres a giant pop-up, the logs wont even show up in the window! After the pop-up disappears, it just becomes a light grey screen. Although the sounds come up, but who wants to just listen to a fire?

This actually isnt a FREE APP, you need to pay $ if you want to enjoy the fireplace w/o a banner in front of the flames that reads UPGRADE NOW!!!

Download it and move your mouse off the the screen and the box will go away. Work fine.

Id rather have one thats a bit longer & has a more varied view. More like the ones on TV that actually burn down. This one is like a 30 second loop over & over.

When I put the app full screen, my daughters think it will warm up the screen. Its great to enjoy.

It does make your screen warmer and if you get close enough, you can feel it. Note that it does take a while to make your screen warmer in some cases and it also has a loop-time.
